I am an English lady ensconced in the land of whisky who loves whisky, and a good giggle.
I am Smiley Smoggy. My first distillery tour was back in the mid nineties when I had the pleasure of visiting Highland Park on Orkney, and my interest had always been there (sometimes not visible) on the back burner.
However, now it is time to turn up the heat, get the fire glowing….do more, try more, say more…. and now I am exploring the delicious world of whisky and making whisky fudge too. Living very close to a number of fantastic distilleries is also a massive joy!!
This blog is my journey into discovering new whiskies, different expressions and some giggles.
